Chad Neal
Initially only "curious", Chad Neal began his leather journey a decade ago. Upon discovery of the kinship of the leather tribe, he has been bound to the community ever since. Involved in many Midwestern leather contests, Chad has served as an executive producer, judge, judge’s boy, titleholder, sash widow and a contestant coach.
Proud of his roots in the Oklahoma leather community, he maintains an alumni membership with Tulsa Uniform Leather Seekers Association. After completion of his doctorate with research focusing on gay men’s body image, he relocated to Missouri and began his full membership in the KC boys of Leather, having served as both president and secretary. His community service work focuses on fundraising for local charity organizations. As an advocate of recovery oriented mental healthcare services, he is honored to serve trauma survivors and people who are recovering from mental illness and substance abuse.
Chad currently lives in Kansas City, MO with Richie Johnson, his partner of eight years, and their two dogs Rocket and Boomer.
