GAYLE RUBIN

Gayle Rubin is a noted scholar of leather history and social life. She serves on the Board of the Leather Archives & Museum, and is the official historian of the Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District in San Francisco. She was a founder of Samois, the first lesbian SM organization. In 1991 she was the first woman to judge a major national gay male title contest: Mr. Drummer. She has been honored with the Leather Alliance Philip M. Turner Lifetime Achievement Award, the Race Bannon Advocacy Award, the Leather Leadership Award, and the Exiles Lifetime Community Achievement Award. She is Associate Professor of Anthropology and Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Michigan.

G (he/him) is a gaysian scholar rooted in Chicago. Co-founder of the whip group CRACS, he teaches impact play, pet play, and power exchange at various venues and conventions. Active in preserving community history, G contributes to the LA&M, curating exhibitions on puppy play and rubber contests. Recognizing the needs and challenges faced by ethnic minorities, he co-founded Chicago Kinky Asians, fostering support through munches and online discussions. In 2023, G joined forces with local leaders to promote collaboration across different aspects of alternative sexuality through the Chicago Coalition of Kink Club. His commitment to inclusivity and education extends to judging at contests like the Chicago Fetish Weekend and the International Puppy and Trainer Contest. G lives with his slavebear.

GRAYLIN THORNTON

Graylin Thornton, International Mr. Drummer 1993 produced the first Ebony in Leather Contest and more recently San Diego Leather.

Over thirty years Graylin, an Academy Legends Inductee has received honors ranging from San Francisco Pride’s Grand Marshall to the Golden Dildo Award for Best Sex in the Bay Area. A cast member of “On Guard Cigar Salon” he’s on the Tom of Finland board and an associate of the Chicago Hellfire Club and The 15. An ONYX Northwest founder, Graylin is affectionately called “The Principal” and subjects his brothers to tales of “back in the day” over and over again.

Michael Tattersall is Mr. Leather Ottawa 2010, Mr. Central Canada Olympus Leather 2009, Mr. Cellblock 2008, and an IML Contestant Handler. He works for Northbound Leather, runs Black Eagle Erotic Life Drawing, Leather Eats dinners, and sex parties.

He's Judged, done, presented and explored Leather and sex across this Continent, and in Israel. He has been awarded "Community Builder Parade Marshall" for Capital Pride, for producing a Leather Weekend, 4 annual Titles, monthly bar parties, weekly fundraisers and more for Community. In Mama's Family, this Trainer-Masso-Physio Sadist Sex and Fetish Educator is Toronto's Pro Dom Top Daddy Sir.

PER HELGE NYLUND

Per Helge is Mister Fetish Europe 2024, the very first holder of this pan-European title, after being Mr. Leather Norway 2019. From the Arctic he reaches out across Europe with messages of diversity and inclusion, respect and freedom for the greater fetish community.

Always a leather man, Per Helge also cares for a broad scope of fetishes and the understanding between them. He invites fellow fetishists to celebrate the Arctic Pride in his hometown Tromsø, the only fetish event to include dogsledding and northern lights watching, with another goal to increase visibility and sexual diversity in society at large.

Pusckatt ONYX, Mr. International Rubber 26 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a vibrant leader in

the global fetish community, initiating discussions and fostering inclusivity. He’s held key roles in ONYX Deep South formerly as President, Road Captain, and presently as the Vice President of ONYX Deep South. Pusckatt, a Board member of Florida Rubber, Ujima Men’s Collective and is an Honorary member of Leather & Fetish Milano and Stonewall Knights motorcycle club. He’s grateful for the support from his husband, Vision Onyx, and Boy Wiggles. His influence extends beyond the fetish community, demonstrating his commitment to unity and inclusivity.

RICHARD NEWBURY

Richard Newbury the 1^st Mr. Leather Wales in 2016 and secretary of the ECMC 2023. Richard grew up in South Wales, UK and his first piece of leather he bought was a tie when he was 9 years old.

Richard is the President and founder of LeatherMen Cymru, which has seen him build a strong inclusive leather/fetish community in Wales, UK. Richard has also recently co-founded “Fetish Isles” a network of fetish clubs/groups based on the western Islands of Europe.

Richard is passionate about community, working together to make us stronger.

ROBERTO CUERO

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, UNITED STATES

Roberto is from Spain and moved to the US in 2016 with his husband Carlos, where they found a welcoming leather community in Boston.  He was Mr. New England Leather 2020-2021, placing in the top 10 at IML44.  Roberto is a member of the Bay State Marauders, LA&M, and of Latin Men of Leather.  He has organized several fundraisers and events to support various non-profits and to promote diversity within the leather community.  He is now co-producer of the New England Leather contest, which aims to build a more inclusive kink community open to leatherfolk of all gender identities.
