International Mr. Leather™ and

We are excited to be working diligently on preparations for International Mr. Leather™ and International Mr. Bootblack 2022. IML Weekend starts on Thursday, May 26th and continues through Monday, May 30th. The Congress Hotel and Convention Center will once again be the host hotel, and the Saturday/Sunday contest events will now be held in an exciting new venue, The Arie Crown Theater at McCormick Place.
The contestants are already shining their gear and preparing their speeches for you, and we will be opening sign-ups for volunteers starting in mid-February. Each year we rely on over 250 volunteers to keep everything moving smoothly. If lending your time to help create a successful event is something you would like to do then you will find that information under the Visitors Guide once it is up and running.
There has been a plethora of questions about Covid-19 and the several variants as far as requirements and protocols for our event. Currently there have been no definitive decisions since the environment is constantly changing and announcements will be made as we get closer; here and on social media. Just know that we are monitoring it closely and we will follow whatever recommendations are made by the government.
